'Building Confidence with horses'

This day course is dedicated to working on building confidence around horses, especially for those who are unsure of them. A lot of groundwork and time are spent in the presence of the horse in a nice, relaxed environment. For this exercise we use our miniature horses as they are not as unnerving as big horses can be to those who are new to horses. There is a theory session, which covers safety procedures, basic care and handling of a horse, parts of the horse and equine behaviour. There are fun games played with the horses which can be a great confidence booster. This course can be done by both children and adults.
